🍁French tests for Canadian immigration: TCF Canada & TEF Canada

Train in the real exam formats, timed, and get an estimated NCLC band per skill. Then drill exactly what holds your score back.

These exams are scored, not passed.

Everyone takes the same test, whatever their level. Your result maps to an NCLC band (1 to 12) in each of the four skills. There is no pass and no fail: the question is which band you reach.

Results here are practice estimates. Official NCLC conversion is done only by the test centres.

NCLC 7

Federal Skilled Worker minimum. With NCLC 7 in all four skills you qualify for Express Entry as a French speaker and reach the top French CRS bonus (up to 50 points with English CLB 5+, 25 points without).

NCLC 9

Higher CRS bands: NCLC 9+ maximizes the skill-transferability points in Express Entry and strengthens provincial francophone streams.
